Frequently Asked Questions

What is “Doctors Working Well”?

Doctors Working Well is an online educational program designed to assist doctors in developing a range of personal skills to improve individual wellbeing. These skills are designed to promote health and resilience in the workplace, as well as to improve functioning outside of the workplace. As part of Doctors Working Well, you will complete a series of modules that contain videos, information, and interactive activities.

Why Should I participate in Doctors Working Well?

To get to this point in your education and employment you probably already have a number of effective self-care and wellbeing strategies in place. However, research shows that doctors are typically a highly stressed and burned out workforce. So even though you might not be feeling stressed now, it is often helpful to learn new strategies for the future and also reassess your use of current strategies. By participating in Doctors Working Well, we hope that you will learn skills to assist you in having a long, rewarding, and sustainable career in medicine.
